The Experience
Not a craft camp. Not screen time in a different room. Campers discover how fashion actually works — the same process industry designers use, run at studio pace, start to finish, in one week. No-sew | Mon 12 – Fri 16 Oct | 9:00 am – 12:00 pm | Ages 8–12 The Sewing Society, Dubai Investment Park ⚠️Please note: students need to be able to use scissors and cut fabric independently. Cutting is part of every session. What they'll do ✨ Build a mood board and lock their design concept ✨ Work colour palettes, fabric science and trims ✨ Sketch an original collection ✨ Study silhouette and how shape changes a look ✨ Drape and construct in 3D on mini doll mannequins ✨ Present at the Friday Trunk Show — parents invited What they take home ✨ A debut collection — 3 original fashion art boards and 3 draped mini garments ✨ Mood board ✨ Designer look book ✨ Certificate of completion How the studio runs 📵 Completely screen-free — five days of hands, materials and real tools 🎻 Classical music while they work 🙏 We open each day with gratitude 🍎 Snack break daily — send a snack and water bottle What they walk away with ⭐ Leadership — owning a project and taking the room when they present ⭐ Problem-solving — working through it themselves, not being rescued ⭐ Planning — idea to finished piece, every step between ⭐ Confidence — what happens after the other three 15 studio hours in five days — a full term's design time, in one week. ⚠️ Max 12 mini designers. Cancellation Policy
Enrollment Places are confirmed on receipt of payment. Spaces are limited to keep groups small, and are allocated in order of booking. Payment Full term fees are due before the first session. Places are not held without payment. Pay in Person — if you select this option, your place is reserved now and payment is made by bank transfer. Payment must be received before the first session.. Missed sessions If your child misses a session, they are welcome to join another session of the same course that week — subject to available space. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare materials. Make-up sessions cannot be carried beyond the term. Cancellations and refunds More than 7 days before the term starts: full refund, less a 10% administration fee Within 7 days and after the term has started: no refunds or transfers Missed sessions are not refundable or deductible, as materials and a place in the group are reserved for your child for the full term. Programme changes If we need to cancel a session, we will offer a replacement date or credit it toward the following term. Photography We occasionally photograph sessions for our website and social media, and we generally avoid using faces — most images show hands, work in progress, and finished pieces. We never publish children's names or schools. If you'd prefer your child not to appear at all, let us know in writing and we'll make sure of it. Behaviour and safety Our sessions use real materials and tools. We ask that students follow safety instructions at all times.
