WHAT STUDENTS DO
(6-CLASS CURRICULUM)

1.
The Hidden Life of Clothes
Students discover what happens to clothing after disposal and explore waste, reuse, repair, and repurpose — becoming eco-detectives.
2.
Material Lab: Meet Your Fabric
Hands-on exploration of fibers, texture, stretch, and fabric behavior. Students build swatch cards and learn how materials impact design.
3.
Design Like a Fashion Innovator
Using a croquis, students turn ideas into polished fashion sketches — learning silhouette, shape, and purposeful design.
4.
Mini Dress Form Challenge
Students transform their 2D sketches into 3D looks by draping fabric on mini dress forms. They explore shape, fit, and basic pattern concepts to understand how real garments take form.
5.
Textile Waste & Impact Activity
Students investigate textile waste through a guided sorting activity and understand how materials affect people, animals, and the environment.
6.
Eco-Runway Showcase
Students present their final designs and explain the sustainable fashion design choices behind each look — building communication skills and confidence.
