She's designed it. Now she builds it. Real draping β fabric, form, and hand-stitching, the way a designer works before a pattern ever exists. This isn't a one-and-done course. Draping is a skill that builds term over term, and designers get visibly better each time they come back. 12 weeks | Tuesdays | 3:15 pm β4:45 pm | Ages: 10β15 πDesigners under 10 take Level 1 at least twice before moving up. Level 2 is built to be repeated too. Most designers stay two or three terms β draping compounds, and the work gets visibly stronger each time. What your designer will do: β¨ Learn to read fabric β weight, fibre, and how it falls β¨ Master four hand-stitches β running, back, feather, chain β¨ Drape and build on her own mini mannequin β¨ Design her own collection from the fabric she's given β¨ Embellish with fabric paint, transfer print and hand embroidery β¨ Present at a final Trunk Show β her runway moment Included in the course: π Her own professional foam mannequin β hers to keep, used again every term π Her full fabric supply β metres of custom-dyed cotton in three weights, all included π All threads, pins, needles, trims and embellishment materials What every designer takes home: β¨ Her mannequin β¨ Fabric and stitch reference cards β¨ 3 draped skirts β¨ 3 tops β¨ 1 freestyle capstone piece β¨ Designer Look Book What They Learn: β Craft β real technique, hands on real materials β Problem-solving β working through it herself, not being rescued β Planning β idea to finished piece, with every step between β Confidence β what happens after the other three Hand-stitching only β no machines. β οΈ Max 8 students per group β Limited spots, these fill fast. π Al Furjan

Cancellation Policy
Enrolment Places are confirmed on receipt of payment. Spaces are limited to keep groups small, and are allocated in order of booking. Payment Full term fees are due before the first session. Places are not held without payment. Missed sessions If your child misses a session, they are welcome to join another session of the same course that week β subject to available space. Please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare materials. Make-up sessions cannot be carried beyond the term. Cancellations and refunds More than 7 days before the term starts: full refund, less a 10% administration fee Within 7 days and after the term has started: no refunds or transfers Missed sessions are not refundable or deductible, as materials and a place in the group are reserved for your child for the full term. Programme changes If we need to cancel a session, we will offer a replacement date or credit it toward the following term. Photography We occasionally photograph sessions for our website and social media. Please let us know in writing if you would prefer your child not to appear. We generally avoid using faces. Behaviour and safety Our sessions use real materials and tools. We ask that students follow safety instructions at all times.
