WHAT STUDENTS DO
(6-CLASS CURRICULUM)

1.
The Hidden Life of Clothes
Students discover what really happens to clothing after we throw it away. Through a hands-on sorting challenge, they learn the difference between waste, reuse, repair, and repurpose — and start thinking like eco-detectives.
2.
Material Lab: Meet Your Fabric
Students examine a garment brought from home, testing stretch, texture, and feel. They build simple swatch cards and explore creative ways to give old clothing new life.
3.
Design Like a Fashion Innovator
Using a fashion croquis, students turn their ideas into polished outfit designs. They learn shape, silhouette, colour, and purposeful design choices — understanding how every decision impacts people and the planet.
4.
Mini Dress Form Challenge
In pairs, students drape real fabric onto mini mannequins, transforming 2D sketches into 3D looks. They fold, pin, cut, and problem-solve using parts of their old garment — just like real designers.
5.
Eco-Runway Showcase
Students present their final looks in a fun mini-runway, explaining the sustainable design choices behind their creations and celebrating their new skills.
